Cloud clad & sunflowers is a home for anything that softly crawls into the room and slithers out. But what we love is the trail it leaves behind. Send us a wet, squishy pile of fallen bodies. Send us the flesh within your ribcage. Send us something that makes us go round and round in mad circles, until we finally become one; until we finally see a collective cataleptic nothingness.
Guidelines
❥ General
• We have an open theme for this issue.• Simultaneous submissions are allowed. But please withdraw the submission if it's accepted elsewhere.• We only accept original, unpublished work. (this includes personal blogs & social media accounts )• Cloud clad & sunflowers acquires First Worldwide Serial (Electronic and Print) Rights and non-exclusive archival rights.• Following publication, all rights immediately revert back to the author/artist. You are free to republish your work elsewhere, though we kindly ask that you credit our magazine as the place of first publication.
❥ Poetry/Prose
• Submit up to 3 poems/ prose in a single document• We only accept submissions in PDF format• Standard 12 pt font preferred (Font should be readable)• Word count for prose is upto 3,500• 1,500 for flash fiction
❥ Haikus
• Upto 5 haikus in a single document
• Fromat: PDF
• Standard 12 pt font
• Need not follow strict haiku rules
❥ Art/ Photography
• Submit a single piece of art ( traditional/ digital) or photography• fromat: JPEG/JPG or PNG high-resolution images (Minimum 300 DPI preferred for print).• All the pieces should have a title• Please name your files as title_yourname•You can opt-in to be considered for our issue's cover art directly on the form!

The Masthead
Founder & Editor-in-chief
Varshini is a poet and editor residing in Kerala. Her work has appeared in Lacuna Vox, The Cove Magazine, and Scapegoat Review. Previously, she served as a general editor for Cathartic Youth Literary Magazine. She is currently volunteering for Stellar wonderz, designing personalized poems and picture books for children with cancer & nursing home residents. In her free time, she loves to paint and read historical fiction. She aspires to become a children's book illustrator one day.
Poetry editor
John Layton is a teacher and poet from Dharawal Country who mostly spends his creative juices writing D&D campaigns. He has published or has poems forthcoming in Oystercatcher 2, Folly Journal, Going Down Swinging, York Literary Review, Jacaranda Journal and The Marrow. He enjoys post-war Australian poetry, Magic the Gathering and Basketball. He has been writing lots of poems about death lately.
Prose editor
Ayesha Riaz Hussain has a passion for the English language. She is a student of BS English and an emerging writer. She has four of her poems published internationally in India and the USA. She has compiled two anthology books with HOC Publications and has contributed as a co-author in an anthology of HOC Publications named "I don't recognise myself anymore". In this anthology she has written about attachment styles. Other than English she finds psychological and sociological topics interesting. She is passionate about learning new things.

Khwoab Ramnani is a high school student from Maharashtra, India, with a love for writing and storytelling. She enjoys putting her thoughts into words and exploring topics that matter to young people today. Interested in law, social issues, and different perspectives, she is naturally curious and always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution through her work.
